This blog is about a Godly women who has found her way through tough times, and through a
hard life of circumstances that were not her choosing, but affected every
choice she ever made until she was like 45 years old and said enough is
enough.
And its about the hard path it took to get there and the wreckage along
the way that was left by her poor choices.
And the people she hurt, and
the money she wasted, and the lives she nearly ruined, but she was somehow
redeemed because God is good and He is always there, but He is not a
magician. But He is there, and He does expect you to pick yourself up by your
boot straps and do the hard work it takes to be a healthy person in this
world surrounded by whole bunch of unhealthy people who just don't understand.
It's about her choice to stop blaming herself and finally come to a place of peace and joy.
And while being alone is lonely, it is certainly easier than being in a sea of dysfunction. And well her
dogs will always love her no matter what, and her kids, and her girl friends will too.
But the crazy train just stopped
here not long ago and she seems to be hanging around the station in
shock that she actually got off the train, wondering where she goes from
here. Waiting for a better train to come along and whisk her away but
realizing she has to continue on foot for awhile before she can travel
so fast. And maybe a train isn't the best form of transportation anyway.
It goes too fast and well you are pretty much trapped on it. She's not the one driving either.
Yeah, she thinks a train is not the best way to go, definitely not a
train....maybe a bike or a car, or a hot air balloon, a plane every once
and a while (fast and dangerous, but can easily go down in flames), or
a bus... no, too many people on a bus, so maybe she will stay on foot for a
while.
Maybe staying on foot will ground her some, and help her to really
look at life slowly and deliberately. Not get caught up in the backlash
of a fast moving train or plane or bike. Maybe walking will lead to
running, and running to biking, and biking to who knows what, but it has
to be better than the crazy train.
The train named crazy has left the station, it has gone off to find another passenger, another
subconsciously unwilling victim. And she remains on foot as she navigates the fresh page in her life.
